The competitions are open to any US rent-paying roommate over the age of 18. A roommate is classed as anyone living in shared accommodation where at least 2 of the residents are unrelated (and not in a relationship). This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Any one of a group of friends renting an apartment or house together
  • A lodger renting a room in a family home
  • A tenant renting a room in shared property
The following would NOT be eligible - including, but not limited to:
  • A home owner who is letting a room out (though the lodger would be eligible)
  • A tenant living alone in a one bed apartment
  • A couple renting on their own

I’m disabled and single and only make 786 a month and it takes all I have just to pay bills and then I still own bills I can’t even afford burial insurance I don’t even have a car it’s so hard I have tried so hard to save but you can’t the way everything has went up I sure could use some help I pray to God every Day but I am thankful I’m not homeless

I had to move out of my home of 5 years I was renting, and got a letter from my Landlord saying to vacate in 90 days, because the owners of the property had sold it.  So November 30 2023, I moved out of home, and have been homeless ever since with my 3 son's ages 3, 7, and 11.
