Quick Lane® Tire & Auto Center and DAV (Disabled American Veterans) have teamed up to launch the Trading One Uniform for Another Scholarship where veterans will receive a $10,000 scholarship that can be applied to any college in the US with an accredited auto mechanics program along with employment opportunities in one of 800+ Quick Lanes nationwide.
FIVE Nominees will each receive a scholarship prize.
Nominate a veteran now and make sure to include up to 200 words on why you think they should win the scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are twenty-one years of age or older; in addition, to be a nominee, a person must also have served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge from active military service and be currently enrolled (or plan to be enrolled by December 31, 2018) in a college or university (including both four  year and two  colleges and universities) located in the 50 United States or Washington, DC which has been accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. For the avoidance of doubt, Entrant and Nominee must be two separate persons; self-nominations are NOT allowed.
FIVE WINNERS: There are five Grand Prizes in total. Each Grand Prize is a $10,000 scholarship to a college or university (including both four  year and two  colleges and universities) located in the 50 United States or Washington, DC which has been accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. Community colleges and junior colleges are specifically included within the definition of college or university.
