It would be nice if you had a person in the store that can demonstate how to use all computer, electronics like Ipads, phones, etc.. if someone isn't really sure how to use them. I know I am not computer literate person and when I went into the store to look at your Ipads there was no one really there to help demonstarte how to use it. I personally do not like going to the Apple Store or Best Buy but I am forced to go there because I need the instructions how to use things. I go to Staples quite often and I would much rather purchase it from there and have someone show me hwo to use what I am purchasing. Maybe one day a week a demonstartion day for all electrinics.

I have an idea for a business that would work well with your business if you are brave enough to consider. I am not putting the idea out on the net yet.

Near the front of each store it would be a help for shoppers to enter the name of a product and have the computer tell the shopper where such a product was displayed. For example if "DVD disks" were entered, the computer could list various brands in addition to the location in the store.

I have acquired/collected approximately 30-50 vintage illustrated gift enclosures and cards from the early 40's. They are all in excellant condition and most have no printer marks or signatures. As they are in public domain, I would like to adapt the images and remake the collection and card line that is vintage-looking but updated for the consumer market for people who appreciate the beautiful and delicate art of that era. I would like to be able to customize these cards and set up an online store and website from which to sell them. I would also like to keep this as a home based business and need a professional printer and scanner that could handle the job.

My idea is that your coupons be used on line and store. Example: paper $25.00 off coupon. Had to go to store to pick up. Ordered ink on light cheaper than store. More convenient to be able to use coupons either way. Large boxes of paper is heavy for some of us to lift several times.

There is a variety of Ink boxes and to be able to find the Ink required need the help of the staff who are normally very busy. Could there be a computer next to the inks to be able to enter the item required and to tell us exactly where that box can be found.

My idea: Everyone wants and needs to be acknowledged, and even loved. I would like to find a way in which loving caring individuals could surround those who feel to be lacking with love and respect, and help them truly know they are important. Then, they too could be contributors to helping others realize the love available in this world. Perhaps a domino effect could take place as this spreads to other regions helping to eliminate so much loneliness and encourage sharing, caring, cooperation and love.

Have an idea board on how to use the items in the education section in your store.

I am a self-taught anthropomorphic digital artist. I opened a shop on Etsy back in 2011 (www.animalfancy.etsy.com) after losing my career of 33 years. I have seen wonderful success with my vintage animal prints and cards (to include one of my prints recruited and now part of the permanent collection at the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts, NH). I would love to take my art to the next level, but do not have the resources or business background to make the transition and turn this into a far bigger success story, perhaps to include a book. Animal lovers are my audience and world is truly full of them. My work, very happily, is literally all over the world. I know there is great potential for much growth.

My idea is to expand Staples product line to include Children's Picture Books starting with the one I have authored - "Sailing the Puddles". Staples would be a great place for parents and grandparents to purchase the children's picture books.

The only crit I have with Staples is the cost of printing the likes of business cards and the like. Otherwise keep up the good work.

As a small business owner and business consultant, I see the need for small businesses, in this economy. We have to make our own economy and small businesses are one way to do that. I would like to see Staples offer consultations to potential business owners with information on what it takes to start a business legally and what products are needed for their type of business. A sales force is good for product information, however, these owners need someone who can advise them what to purchase and why. Some want to over buy and some want to under buy for their needs. It would be a win-win for the customer and definitely for Staples loyalty.

We are an all volunteer grassroots group in Ohio, working to protect our Water, Air and Land from the toxic and radioactive Shale Gas waste Stream produced by Natural Gas wells in Ohio and 50% of Pennsylvania's and West Virginia's liquid and solid Shale Gas Development Wastes. We have put up one Billboard, hold educational Public Forums, and are creating a Bill of Rights for Safe Water, Air and Land in our Capital City, Columbus. Getting this Information Out requires a lot of visual exposure (fliers, yard signs, Billboards, and Ads in publications). We are working to Keep our Water Safe, our Air Safe, our Land Safe, so our Kids and our Grandkids and their Grandkids have Fresh & Safe Water, Air and Land. Thanks so much.
