2022 AMA Member Sweepstakes Rules

One winner will be drawn for each grand prize. Drawings will be held in January 2023.

One (1) Shoei Helmet with an estimated value of up to $889.99 will be given away to one (1) winner One (1) Butler Maps Master Collection with a value of $280. One (1) Aerostich R3 1-Piece Suite with an estimated value of $1,300. One Cardo Systems Packtalk Black with a value of $389.95 will be given away to one (1) winner.

One (1) Bohn Armor Pant/Shirt set with an estimated value of $318 and one (1) Motool Slacker Tool and Street Kit with a value of $159.99. All winners will be selected quarterly in April, July, October 2022 and January 2023 for a total of eight (8) winners.

One (1) pair of Liberty sunglasses with an estimated value of $167.95 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly. One (1) Nelson Rigg motorcycle cover with an estimated value of $99.95 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly. One (1) AMA t-shirt with an estimated value of $25 will be given away to five (5) winners monthly. One (1) Bohn Armor Skull Cap with an estimated value of $15.99 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly. One (1) Warm and Safe 12V USB Adapter with an estimated value of $15.00 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly. One (1) Motion Pro Pro Fill Airchuck with an estimated value of $44.99 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly. One (1) set of Mimi and Moto children’s books with an estimated value of $29.98 will be given away to one (1) winner monthly.

Those who join as a new AMA member or renew their AMA membership between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, will receive one (1) automatic entry in the Grand Prize and the Annual Bonus Prize sweepstakes; additional automatic entries may be provided to those responding to select promotions at the sole discretion of AMA. Those who join as a new AMA member or renew their AMA membership between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2022, will receive one (1) automatic entry in the Monthly Bonus Prize sweepstakes for the respective month in which they join or renew. Those who join as a new AMA member or renew their AMA membership between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, will receive one (1) automatic entry in the Quarterly Prize sweepstakes for the respective quarter in which they join or renew. An official mail-in entry form may be obtained free of charge by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: 2022 AMA MEMBERSHIP SWEEPSTAKES, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147; one mail-in entry per person. Return the completed mail-in entry form to: 2021 AMA MEMBERSHIP SWEEPSTAKES, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147. Only a valid, official mail-in entry form will be accepted (no duplicates or photocopies). All mail-in entries must be received no later than December 31, 2022. Neither the AMA, nor any of its employees or affiliates assumes any liability for lost or misdirected entries or entries that are not received by the deadline. By returning the official mail-in entry form, properly completed, you will be entered in the Grand Prize sweepstakes, as well as the Annual Bonus Prize, Monthly Bonus Prize sweepstakes correlating to the month and the Quarterly Bonus Prize correlating to the quarter in which your mail-in entry was received, and will be deemed to have agreed to abide by these rules.

One (1) Grand Prizes winner for each motorcycle will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted in January 2023. Four (4) Annual Bonus prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted in January 2022. Four (4) Quarterly Bonus Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted in April, July, October 2022 and January 2023. Twelve (12) Monthly Bonus Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted each month for the previous month’s eligible members in 2022 and in January 2023. All prizes will be awarded. The winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. All prize winners will be required to sign a statement of eligibility and release. If the prize winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made, or he or she is found to be ineligible, or he or she does not comply with these rules, such prize winner will be disqualified and, if applicable, an alternate prize winner may be selected. By entering this drawing, all winners shall be deemed to have given the AMA, or anyone it chooses, the unlimited right and license to use the winner’s name, likeness and photograph for publicity purposes in all media, worldwide, and without further compensation. No substitution of prizes or cash equivalents is permitted at the election of the winners. The AMA shall have the right to make prize substitutions at its discretion, in which case an alternate prize shall be awarded at the discretion of the AMA.

No purchase necessary. The sweepstakes is open to individuals who are residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older. American Motorcyclist Association (“AMA”) membership is not required for entry in the 2022 AMA MEMBERSHIP SWEEPSTAKES. Employees of the AMA, the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (the “AMHF”), their respective Boards of Directors, and members of each of their immediate families are not eligible. Members who are unable to receive sweepstakes prizes for reasons of incarceration, extended travel, relocation, or any reason determined by the AMA to preclude prize delivery are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.

Grand Prizes must be claimed or redeemed by December 31, 2023. The Grand Prize winners shall bear sole responsibility for transporting the Grand Prize to their location. The Annual, Monthly and Quarterly Bonus prizes will be sent to the winner by the AMA. All federal, state and local taxes, laws and regulations apply, and winner shall bear sole responsibility for paying any applicable taxes which he/she owes at time of receipt. Grand Prize winners shall be provided with a Form 1099 IRS tax document for the retail value of the Grand Prize.

The winners by acceptance of the Grand Prize, Annual Bonus, Quarterly Bonus and/or Monthly Bonus Prize, agrees to release the AMA and its officers, directors, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and employees from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident, or death incurred in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of any prize. The AMA does not make, nor is responsible for, a warranty or a guarantee with regards to any prize, including but not limited to a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The AMA reserves the right to amend, revise, and interpret these rules as it sees fit.
