MR.

GOOD DAY,
MY FIANCE WON A BRANSON VACATION AND PAID $130 FOR WHATEVER IS NEEDED FOR A FREE GIVEAWAY. SHE WAS INITIALLY TOLD A 30 MINUTE MEETING IS REQUIRED, BUT AFTER CALLING TO GET BETTER DETAILS, SHE WAS TOLD IT WAS NOW A 2 HOUR MEETING. WE NEED TO SEE IF WE CAN GET OUR MONEY BACK, DUE TO THE LACK OF CREDIBLE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS "VACATION". HER NAME IS ERICA WILLIAMS AND SHE WON THIS TRIP ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO. SHE HAS TRIED TO CALL ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND SENT EMAILS TRYING TO GET CLARIFICATION. THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE THAT TRUSTED YOUR COMPANY AND PAID IN ADVANCE. PLEASE GET BACK WITH US ASAP.
BEST REGARDS,
JOE WINEBARGER

I get this call daily and I keep telling them to quit calling it's not a win if you have to pay anything but taxes

That sounds more like a time share than a sweepstakes.  If I were you, I'd get a hold of your credit card company and tell them you tried to get a refund and they will not give it to you.  They should be able to tell you what to do.  I've never had to pay for any prize, except taxes on my income tax return, that I've won and I've been entering since 1983. Whenever they ask for money upfront, I'd hang up on them.

Infinite Sweepstakes is a sweepstakes listing site and has nothing to do with any of the sweeps or contest listed here. Those of us who enter sweepstakes and contests know that you NEVER have to pay anything to receive a prize. Sound to me like she was scammed by a timeshare company. I seriously doubt that she will ever get that money back.  She might want to find a different hobby or get someone who does this as a hobby to teach her the ins and outs of this hobby.

She may have been scammed because legitimate giveaways do not require payments.

Legitimate giveaways usually don't require winners to pay anything.

It's a scam when they ask you to pay for a prize that you have won. Never send any money or credit card information.

Ouch! Your fiance didn't really win anything if they paid $130. Be careful!! These places are doing this all the time and you never have to pay if you've truly won something.

This website/company is not responsible or related to any of the sweepstakes on the website. This website cannot do anything about your entry. Every contest on here is from a third party. You may have entered a time share thing, where "everyone" wins but in reality you have to participate in a meeting and nothing is free.
