They get up early and roll out the signs to make sure you're kids are safe and here's your chance to recognize their dedication.

Join SafeKids in thanking crossing guards by nominating your local crossing guard to be America’s Favorite Crossing Guard.

Winning guards receive cash toward a school pedestrian safety program and First place winner gets professional crossing guard apparel and accessories.

Nominees will be open for public voting on November 19th.

Eligibility and Prize Information

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. Participants must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry.

FIRST PRIZE: One winning school will receive uniform and accessories suitable for a crossing guard and a $10,000 award toward a pedestrian safety program.

SECOND PRIZE: One winning school will receive a $7,500 award toward a pedestrian safety program.

THIRD PRIZE: One winning school will receive a $5,000 award toward a pedestrian safety program.
