ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents residing in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is older) on the first day of the Contest Period.
GRAND PRIZE: Grand Prize Winner will receive "One Year Supply of Jelly Belly jelly beans", which will be awarded in the form of 1lb of jelly beans per month for twelve months (Approximate Retail Value or "ARV" of $167.88), official merchandise (ARV of $100), and a cash prize (ARV of $4,500).
Total ARV of the Grand Prize is $4,767.88.
WINNER DETERMINATION: After the close of the Contest Period, all eligible Entries received will be reviewed and judged by members of the reviewing organization, based upon the following criteria :
Accuracy of Jelly Belly Knowledge (30%) and Overall Creativity (70%) for 100% Jelly Belly IQ.
Jelly Belly Knowledge (30%): Each entrant's accuracy of knowledge will be assessed based on their ability to answer three Jelly Belly Fun Facts based multiple-choice questions correctly. Only Entrants who answer all three questions correctly will proceed to the next stage of the evaluation process.
Creativity (70%): The overall creativity score will be a combination of the following components.
Storytelling for "Why" Scenarios (35%): Judges will evaluate the creativity and imaginative qualities demonstrated in the entrant's storytelling for the "why" scenarios. Entrants should craft compelling narratives that explore hypothetical scenarios for why one would choose the selected flavor.
Depth of Explanation (20%): Entrants will be assessed on the depth and thoroughness of their explanation. Judges will look for detailed insights and thoughtful analysis, demonstrating a deep understanding of the qualities and characteristics associated with the chosen jelly bean flavor.
Personal Connection to the Chosen Flavor (15%): Judges will consider the entrant's personal connection to the chosen flavor. Entrants should convey a genuine and heartfelt connection to the flavor they've selected, sharing personal anecdotes, memories, or emotions associated with it. The depth of the entrant's personal connection to the flavor will be evaluated based on the sincerity and authenticity of their response.
One Grand Prize winner, as determined by the Judges in accordance with the Judging Criteria, will be selected (the "Grand Prize Winner" or "Winner"). In the event of a tie, the Entry with the higher score in the "Creativity" category will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. Sponsor and Judges will not disclose any judging scores.
